Through their eyes, we seek to understand how they perceive

Scientists call the first six years as the foundation for life. In these years, the child creates the adult he will become. In our classroom we help children work toward creating this adult who will grow to fulfil his potential.

A developing child is guided by his needs - physical, emotional and intellectual. Our classroom feeds the needs of this child while letting him explore the world through his senses. Every child is unique and hence the work plan for each child is unique too.

At Da Vinci Montessori, we observe each child to understand his needs, in his stage of development and plan activities accordingly.

We educate the hand, the head and the heart.

In an environment that is Prepared for your child

Our environments are designed to provide various forms of stimulus to work & explore comfortably and safely.

Children until the age six need an environment that is right for their growth and development. We design our classrooms with utmost care and understanding. From the furniture, working materials, moving spaces, dining area to restrooms; everything is child sized and made of natural materials. There is utmost order & cleanliness in the environment because children are sensitive to these. There is progression in the way materials are kept. Freedom combined with discipline is given to explore and move around. To say the least, every aspect of the environment is planned for your child.

We use this understanding to plan

The learning of a child is dependent on the age and the Sensitive Periods the child is experiencing at that age. Through time tested activities we craft each program carefully. Our classrooms are spacious and our class strength allows for plenty of room for children.

So That Development happens through Progression

Mastery in anything is achieved through progression. We step into learning when we begin learning a skill and we progress and master as we practice the skill. Children learn in very much the same way. They sit, then crawl and ultimately walk.

This idea of development through progression is apparent in every area of our curriculum. This ensures complete realization of any development while boosting their confidence bit by bit as they conquer progressive stages. As they achieve mastery in one stage, they move on to the next.
